Guardian Angel: the rest of the angel

I have been a bit slow in working and writing recently. Instead of letting a looming pile of photos and descriptions menace me, here's... the rest of the angel, at least as far as the cotton embroidery is concerned.
Here I've finished all of the split stitching and am preparing to applique the embroidery to some red velveteen fabric before adding the pearls and, eventually, framing. The eyes were a little bit tricky and I had to go back after the main stitching of the face to make some of the adjustments which Galina suggests. In a couple of places I used DMC six strand floss instead of the perle cotton to achieve a little more precision.
Last note for now: do iron the embroidery in the frame. I made the mistake of thinking "oh, it's spent several months in the frame, it'll stay nice and flat when I take it out". It absolutely will not. I had to apply a great deal of heat and moisture (and sparing, well-chosen pressure) to get it to lay mostly flat.
