Guardian Angel: himation

The blue of the himation is a refreshing change from the reds and golds of the rest of the piece. I pencil in guidelines as needed to help with shading. I can use a soft vinyl eraser to remove the markings, if needed. The amount of graphite used is small enough that I'm not worried about it dirtying the threads.

 

Galina is right when she says that at the end, all of the shading and stitching will blend together as if by magic.
